When I was a kid, I always pictured God to have magnificent long, white hair and a crazy cool beard. Every time I’d look up at the clouds, I’d picture God sitting on a gold throne, looking down at the world through some portal. I believed that God was a powerful being and I believed He loved me.
Now that I am 24 years old, my image of God has changed. I believe and know that God is an all-powerful being, whose powers surpass anyone and anything on this earth. I know without a doubt that God sees me, watches over me, and cares for me. I know He loves me because I feel His love and His presence with me every day.
But what is God to us and what does He do for us?
We can open our bibles up each day and learn something new about God and what He is to us. Throughout the bible we see just how caring and loving our God truly is towards us. It is important to know what our God is.
