Satan’s Plan Against Us

We know that God has had a plan for us from the very beginning. We know that God’s plans for our lives are to uplift us and lead us closer to Him. But God is not the only One who has plans for our lives. Satan also has plans for our lives and they are not to uplift us and lead us closer to God. So what are Satan’s plans for our lives?

Satan’s Plan Against us:

Doubt: Makes you question God’s word and His goodness.

Discouragement: Makes you look at your problems rather than at God.

Diversion: Makes the wrong things seem attractive so that you will want them more than the right things.

Defeat: Makes you feel like a failure so that you don’t even try.

Delay: Makes you put off doing something so that it never gets done.

Do any of these tactics sound familiar? Are you struggling with feelings of doubt, discouragement, or defeat? Do you feel stuck at a cross roads, trying to decide on what path to take? Do you have a hard time getting up and going forth?

The past few days, my heart has felt very heavy and broken due to the feelings of discouragement and defeat. But while I may have been feeling those feelings, I began to realize that those feelings are not from God. God only wants the good things for us, that will uplift us and bring us closer to Him. It is Satan who wants to squash our hearts and suffocate our emotions with pain, discouragement, and defeat. But because Satan is a created being, he has limitations.

Saints of God, I repeat, Satan has limitations. The God who created us does not have limitations. There is nothing on this earth that can limit our God. We have a God who is able and will deliver us. Have confidence and faith in God to take care of us. Shake Satan off and rebuke him from your life today. He can’t stay if you tell him to flee. We have the power through our Lord to run the devil off.
